the hotel was next to parks and an oasis and overlooked the courtyard. we could have lunch in giggling squid berko set within 100 metres. shower and a bed were a bonus. lovely beds.

Choosing for lunch Ask Italian, which is situated 500 metres away was a good idea. The bed was comfortable. Brilliant base for a city break in Berkhamsted! Fortunately, free WiFi was available.
